Take a guided snowshoe hike through the Sierra Nevada wilderness and Lake Tahoe basin. Starting at 8.000 feet of elevation, you will enjoy the trek as it cuts through snow-covered forest and along the Tahoe rim, providing amazing views of Lake Tahoe. Stop and enjoy snacks and hot drinks as you take photos and feed the chickadees that hover around the rim of the Tahoe basin. Snowshoe hikes can occur during the day or in the evening, and special events, such as full moon hikes which are scheduled in advance. All hikes are led by Avalanche certified and medically qualified guides, so your experience will not only be breathtaking, but safe.

No matter your experience level, the length of the hike can be tailored to your desire and skill set. Snowshoes, poles and head lamps provided.
